NetCom Mini

NetCom Mini are easy-to-use networked based Serial Device Servers designed for connecting RS232 devices directly to the 10/100Mbps Ethernet running TCP/IP.
NetCom Mini used in Driver Mode make a remote serial port to act as a virtual local COM port. In this mode a software application can directly control remotely located devices, such as data collection systems over network.
The Driver Mode is based on the public domain protocol known as RFC2217. In Windows this implements the virtual Com Port, libraires for use in Linux exist.
